Bryson was founded in 1974 and has developed into the leading supplier of safety, fixings and protection products for the construction industry. Whilst our vision is to be the sustainable supplier of choice, with a mission to make construction and fit-out contractors' life easier with smarter, faster, greener solutions, we also want to ensure that Bryson is an industry-leading employer.


With this in mind, the Bryson family set about to build a great culture, which was tested as we put it to our team to decide whether Bryson is indeed a great place to work.


We are delighted to announce that we are now fully accredited as a Great Place To Work thanks to the feedback from all staff.


We couldn’t be happier and want to thank each and every member of staff for making this happen.

Our Journey to Become Great Place to Work


In 2022 we introduced a monthly employee NPS survey with the objective to help us really understand the needs of our employees. All the feedback received from the survey’s have been recorded and actioned, and as we transition into 2023 we have additional actions in place. We’re creating more feedback loops, introducing more ideas suggested from employees and further striving to be the employer of choice in our industry. Without the openness, honesty, positive attitude, and hard-working spirit of our Bryson team, we wouldn’t be such a great place to work.



What makes us a great place to work?



1. Benefits tailored to our employees’ needs and wants – After introducing our monthly employee NPS survey in 2022, we have already introduced some benefits requested by employees from multiple departments.


2. Thanks: genuine recognition - We operate a profit gain bonus scheme to give back to all our employees and recognise their hard work. In addition, there are quarterly employee awards programmes.


3. Social – From quarterly all-company events to lunches, mini-game celebrations and more, Bryson encourages all employees to network and spend time together.


4. Brand – We recently launched our Smarter, Faster, Greener methodology known as ‘The Bryson Way’ to help forward-thinking construction and fit-out contractors by make their life easier. This methodology has also provide a unified voice and guidance in the daily roles of all our employees as we strive for our vision is to be the sustainable supplier of choice.


5. Growth – In the last year we has welcomed more than 35 members of staff to the business and is still growing in not only numbers but also in experience and ability to provide a perfect service to both customers and employees.


6. Wellbeing – The introduction of sick pay, wellbeing Wednesday, assistance with health and mental health, and a supportive network of people is how Bryson looks after the wellbeing of all. Further projects are planned for 2023.


7. Diversity and inclusion fostering for all - Everyone is welcome at Bryson. We’re open and welcoming to anyone who has the skills, attitude and team spirit to join us on our journey.


8. Values – Fast, Fun Green Growth are attributes that all employees display.


9. Strategy – We’re not hoping for the best and expecting it to come, our dedicated Heads of Departments help define our initial strategies and plan how to achieve our goals. All staff are included and encouraged to submit ideas and suggestions to drive the strategy forward.


10. Communication – By introducing a cadence of meetings and catch ups, team and department video updates, all-company huddles and open book management, we’re leading the way with open communication. There is always room for improvement and further communication projects are in store for 2023, such as company intranet.
