Armorgard Volthub

VoltHub provides 32 sockets in 16 lockable compartments – all in one go-anywhere cabinet that is IP rated, secure and powered through just one external plug. Built-in fire safety features include forced ventilation with temperature management and fire suppression, meaning any battery fires can be contained until the fire crew arrives. A siren, flashing light and SMS alert will also raise the alarm.

Mobile, IP56 rated chassis with 16 individual charging lockers inside. Each with a double gang RCD protected charging socket

Front enclosure ventilation that allows air to be pulled through each compartment where hot air from each charging locker is exhaust out the rear.

800CFM centrifugal fan is used to create negative pressure inside the enclosure to maintain high fluid flow dynamics required for efficient cooing.

Fan is controlled via thermohygrostat and automatically activated at 25C internal temp or 50% RH.

Internal critical temperature shut off where at 60C internal environment, power is automatically cut to charging. Fan will continue to run, reducing internal temperatures to below 60C where charging will resume.

80W heater inside to automatically raise internal temps in sub-zero temps to increase charging performance.

6Litre DLP automatic fire suppression system with lithium-ion specific suppressant. (Chemical certified to NTA 8133) VH has been extensively tested in house and offers direct detection, extinguishing, isolation, and containment of a battery fire in any compartment.

Alarm/notification system with 12V battery backup and added GSM networking functionality. Will work as a standalone unit with a sim card (to send SMS/phone call to 3x pre-programmed numbers) or can be hard wired into per-existing fire alarm systems.
