Plastic waste is a significant problem in the construction industry. According to the British Plastics Federation, construction is the second-highest industry that uses and discards single-use plastics.

Tackling plastic waste in the construction industry is a top priority and we see and recognise that this as an opportunity to offer a solution. There is a significant opportunity to recycle and repurpose plastic waste, whilst supporting our clients in minimising the waste they generate in line with their sustainability goals

Introducing our Closed Loop Recycling Scheme

We have created a solution to recycle protection board, into the same product so that it can be used again on site, closing the loop!

  • We collect your used Protection Board or BryBoard signage from site.
  • Then send it to our recycling plant where it's recycled into raw material.
  • This is then used to manufacture Bryson Floor Protection Board and BryBoard signage.

How does it work?

Closed Loop Circle.png (243 KB)

Give us a call once you have used your protection board or BryBoard on-site and we'll collect it. Or you can email recycling@bryson.co.uk.

  • We will raise an order for collection.
  • We'll be in touch to confirm your collection date
  • Collection is tracked from pick up by our Bryson team, all approved and licensed for waste collection
  • Sustainability reporting will be provided quarterly after collections have been made.

Your collected protection board and/or signage is cleaned, stripped and recycled back to its raw material as pellets. Everything recycled is unrecognisable for brand protection.

YES PLEASE any size and thickness of fluted polypropylene protection board and signage.
NO THANKS contaminated sheets, compounds or debris (such as concrete, cement and mortar), metal pins or screws.
Once your collection order has been raised, a member of our team will be in touch to confirm your collection date. Our closed loop recycling collections take place as per the below.
