Google submits plans for London ‘landscraper’ HQ

Technology giant Google has submitted a planning application to Camden Council for its proposed King’s Cross Campus, intended to be the first wholly-owned and designed Google building outside the United States.  The building has been described as a “landscaper”, due to the fact that it is as long as London’s Shard is tall.

A £500m regeneration of Swansea’s city centre looks set to proceed after being given the green light by councillors.  The city’s planning committee gave the go-ahead to redevelop the 11 ha site, which includes the St David’s shopping centre in the city centre.

Peterborough shopping centre poised for £45 million modernisation

Bosses of Serpentine Green, in Hargate Way, have unveiled plans for the modernisation of the southern section of the 19-year-old centre in a move that could provide 257 jobs. The development will involve the creation of 11,359 square metres of leisure attractions, an extra 1,848 square metres of restaurants and cafes plus an array of modern retail units and the creation of a town square for outdoor events.

£275M Birmingham Mixed-use Scheme Revealed
